Officials to break ground on US-54 resurfacing project in Guymon Friday, September 15.
Oklahoma Secretary of Transportation Tim Gatz along with local and state officials from Guymon will gather in Guymon to break ground on a resurfacing project along US-54.
This groundbreaking will officially kick off the more than $33 million project that will resurface US-54 along the southside of Guymon between SW 5th St. and Hurliman Rd. This project will improve a major thoroughfare through Guymon, helping daily commuters and visitors get around town.
The resurfacing will begin Monday, September 18. The estimated time frame for the project is approximately 400 days.
